FAQ

Skilled Labour Coordination questions.

How is the 5% coordination fee calculated?

The standard fee is 5% of the approved labour booking value unless the proposal states a minimum or different agreed fee. Labour charges, GST, allowances, travel and other project costs are itemised separately.

Does SafeOps Group employ or supervise the worker?

That depends on the written arrangement. The proposal will identify the employing or contracting entity and the responsibilities of SafeOps Group, the host site and the worker or service provider before confirmation.

Are licences, tickets and insurance checked?

Relevant evidence can be requested and recorded as part of the scope review. The host must still complete its own site, task, induction and safety checks before work starts.
